Types of Payment Accepted

I accept US Post Office Money Orders, and PayPal.

I DO NOT accept credit cards because to do so would require that I pay the credit card company a fee for processing. I do not own a credit card and it is a personal decision not to offer this on my website, but PayPal takes credit card and debit card payments without any added fees to my customers. (Another reason I like PayPal)

1. Choose the theme that best reflects your style or passion. If you don't see a design you like here, write me at info@designsbyjae.org and I will design one for you.

2. Choose the size of mailbox you wish to order. Unless requested all mailboxes are standard sized US Postmaster General Approved rural steel mailboxes. Please allow an additional charge for other mailboxes due to the increased price of the blank mailboxes.

Standard Mailbox - 8 3/4"H x 6 3/4"W x 19"D
Large Mailbox - 10 7/8"H x 8 1/2"W x 20 1/4"D + $20 surcharge
Jumbo Mailbox - 15"H x 11 1/2"W x 23 1/2"D + $35 surcharge

3. Decide on which side of your mailbox you wish the design to be painted. Flag side or non-flag side. A coordinating design will be painted on the front of the door. Floral mailboxes are painted on all four sides. Because of the time invested in painting the wildlife or animal themed mailboxes, I only paint one side of the mailbox with the scene and put the coordinating design on the door. If you should wish both sides to be painted with the scene, please let me know. Please note that there is a $20 additional fee to paint both sides.

Because this is a home based business, calls will be returned within 24 hours or less in most cases.

TIMELINE:

1. ORDER IS PLACED
I will begin on the mailbox. Depending on workload, it may take 1-2 weeks to complete your mailbox.

2. IMAGE WILL BE SENT FOR APPROVAL
I will take a picture of the mailbox prior to my putting any personalization on it and send the picture via email for your approval.

3. INVOICING
Once approved, I will send an invoice for payment via paypal which describes the mailbox you ordered and spells out any personalization you requested to your email address .

4. FINISHING TOUCHES and SHIPMENT
Once payment is received, I will personalize the mailbox according to your instructions, seal it with polyurethane sealer and then ship.
